Videos of our walks

Dogs are social creatures and love to play, sniff exercise with their friends. Well exercised, socialised and trained dogs make it easy for you to take them out to parks, on holidays and on visits to friends or familys’ homes without it being stressful for either of you. A well balanced and socialised dog is a very happy dog.

Agility is the key

Here is an example of one of my dog walks. All the dogs have lots of fun and exercise in the country and the woods and enjoy running, jumping and swimming as part of their daily exercise. There’s no street walking on leads, just good old fashioned pack behaviour to stimulate the mind and body of your best friend.
Remember that although dogs love humans they are social creatures of spirit and need to be with their own species.

Keeping your dog healthy involves more than just physical exercise. Most of us understand our dog’s need for physical exercise; we provide it by going on walks, running, playing chase, or something similar. Less well understood is our dog’s need for mental exercise, too.

Most dog breeds were developed to perform a specific job of some sort such as protecting the owner, herding livestock, hunting game – these are a few examples of the types of work dogs have been bred to perform. Do some breed research to find out what “life purpose” is inherent in your dog and use that information to fulfill his need for mental exercise.

Just as adults and children benefit from social interaction, your dog will benefit from playing with other dogs. Because dogs are pack animals, they are naturally inclined to social play.
