Owner will ensure their dog is clean, with up-to-date vaccinations, de-flea and anti-worm treatments.

Charges are per walk (not per day) that a dog is booked in. For example a one week booking from Monday to Friday will count as one single walk per day.

Owner undertakes to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic which might make your dog not suitable for walking including behavioural or health problems, antisocial behaviour including aggression, incontinence/lack of training or excessive loud barking/whining.

Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner’s dog unsuitable for walking will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement.

All efforts will be made to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted 3rd party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.

The owner will either ensure that access is given to collect the dog from the agreed address at the agreed times or provide a key to the place where the dog is kept. We will only use the key to collect and return the dog and for no other purpose and will keep it safe, not let anyone else have it, not copy it and will return it to the customer on demand. We will provide this service personally as husband and wife.

In case of sickness we will endeavour to provide another walker who has been appointed and vetted by us and working under our instructions (this will not be done without your prior consent).

The owner will supply suitable collars or harnesses and leads [and when necessary muzzles] for the dog and any coats or other accessories which the owner wishes to be used. We will be entitled to refuse to walk the dog if a suitable collar or harness and lead [and muzzle] is not provided and to be paid in full as though that walk had taken place.

We will inform the owner of any incident or anything which we notice about the dog, which as dog owners the owner ought to know.

We will take care so far as is practicable both that the dog is not a nuisance or danger to anyone, or any other animals, and that no harm comes to it. We will supply a plastic bags for use on all walks to remove the dog’s faeces and ensure that the dog does not foul any public or private place.

We are not required to feed the dog other than treats (unless the owner is unable to feed after the walk and prior arrangements have been made) but we will provide water after the walk. We strongly advise that dogs are not fed before morning walks for health reasons.

Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by us.
Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by the dog whilst being walked.

Fees are to be paid at time of booking.

Payments are non refundable if your booking is cancelled less than 48hrs before your dog walk.
